Battery Operated Barriers (BOB)
Battery Operated Barriers (BOB) was founded shortly after 9/11 by a former small-town police chief and inventor. The concept was simple: create an autonomous, portable, remote-controlled security gate that could be easily transported and deployed. Featured products include the Heavy Utility Gate (HUG) and Towable Utility Gate (TUG). Designed for medium- to long-term deployment, the autonomous HUG features adjustable heavy-duty steel pads, an enclosed battery box, security rings, a urethane coating, a reflective tower and arm, and a remote control. With the optional solar package, it can operate completely independently. Built for highway transport and rapid deployment, the TUG features an enclosed battery box, highway-rated wheels and hubs, and a reflective arm and tower.
