This 38" Roadshark Low-Profile Heavy-Duty Inground Traffic Spike is designed for high-traffic areas, making it ideal for military & industrial applications. It provides effective vehicle traffic control, allowing travel in one direction only. This barrier is engineered for durability with a robust, low-maintenance design, supporting loads up to 70 Tons and featuring shock-absorbing rubber bumpers and sound-dampening properties. The Galvanized Yellow enhances durability and visibility, while optional torsion springs offer increased blade tension.

Prior to July 1, 2024, the LPC38 and LPC48 models were Low Profile Counterbalanced options at 38” and 48”. To simplify lengths and reduce confusion, the LPS (Low Profile Springloaded) models much like this one were introduced in 3ft (36”) and 4ft (48”). The LPS features improved springs rated for 100,000+ vehicles, cutting maintenance to a quarter of competitors’ levels while reducing noise by over half. The LPS48 matches LPC48 installation dimensions, ensuring seamless replacement. Stock remains available for LPC38 units and axles to support repairs as needed.
