TT38-BLACK is a Surface Mount Low Height Traffic Control Barrier designed for military and industrial security, effectively preventing unauthorized entry and exit. With a low profile of 2.05 inches and adjustable blade heights ranging from 3.6 to 3.75 inches, this barrier provides robust security with a minimal footprint. The barrier features a .250 inch (1/4") steel cover plate, with options for heavy-duty 5/16 or 3/8 inch thickness. The design includes a .750 inch shaft inside the barrier and a low frame height of 2.05 inches. The barrier is easy to install, low maintenance, and includes CAUTION warning hazard decals. Its reinforced frame and cover plate support up to 40 tons and incorporate a shock-absorbing design with internal bumpers and sound dampening for quieter operation. The sharpened steel blades, .375 inches (3/8") thick, are adjustable from 3.6 to 3.75 inches in height, with a standard overall height of 3.75 inches. The blades can be enhanced with 3M "Night Bright" reflective material for increased visibility. The barrier features durable stainless steel torsion springs rated for 50,000 vehicles, allowing for variable blade tension and height adjustment. It includes locking options to secure the blades in either the up or down position and a simple, fast latchdown mechanism for ease of use. The axles can be easily replaced to accommodate different blade heights, making this barrier a versatile and reliable choice for high-security environments.
